EA Campus 2014

The videogame leader Electronic Arts is looking for 34 students to enroll in EA CAMPUS 2014, a paid five weeks training in Madrid specifically designed for localization testers. Spanish from Mexico mother-tongue candidates are sought, so apply now to get your place!

Madrid is home to the most important international localization studio for videogames in Europe and the EA Campus will teach in detail how the Quality Assessment and Localization of huge projects are managed in Madrid, which professional positions are involved, and how does the studio-producer-platform triangle work. Note that all participants will receive an aid of450€ per five weeks to cover expenses!

The best participants will be offered an opportunity to work at the company throughout the summer as localization testers in leading titles such as Mass Effect, FIFA, the Sims and SimCity. The localization tester roles entail the monitoring and supervision of:

• Naming convention guidelines
• Dubbing
• Contextualized language
• Spelling and grammar
• Audio-image localization
